Our Previous Activities


The Center hosted a group of training courses for volunteers, including doctors and nursing staff, in Benghazi City Hospitals, where the training was supervised by Dr./Ahmed Abdelkader, Endocrinology Advisor (Children’s Hospital).

The course lasted 3 days for doctors and two days for nursing staff, each course took care of :

  1. Principles of CPR.

  2. Endotracheal intubation.

  3. Intravenous catheter.


Under the supervision of Dr. / Mohamed Al-Aqouri, a Specialist in Critical Medicine ( who holds a British Fellowship in Internal Medicine and Acute Diseases), the Center carried out training courses for nursing staff at the College of Dentistry for a period of 6 days targeting CPR skills and the measurement of vital indicators.


Within the framework of the accreditation of the center by the American College of Surgeons, a group of employees of the center participated in the work of a seven-day preparatory course in Egypt to obtain a certified trainer License in the field of ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support ).


The Center, in cooperation with the Training and Continuing Learning Center, hosted several training courses targeting newly graduated doctors, as follows:

During the months of June to December 2019, four ER courses were conducted, which included theoretical lectures and practical applications at the Clinical Skills Center, and ended with the theoretical and practical examination.

Participants who pass the course receive an accredited certificate from the Libyan International Medical University.

Intravenous Cannulation session

Typical methods of teaching intravenous (IV) cannulation include instructional videos, practice on plastic arm,

the session includes hand washing, vein selection, cannula selection,  intravenous cannulation procedure, and securing the cannula in place.


CPR  : cardiopulmonary resuscitation session

This session is designed to prepare students to provide CPR and use an AED in a safe, timely, and effective manner, The skills learned in this session will help to  recognize cardiac arrest, get emergency care on the way quickly, and help the person until more advanced care arrives to take
